Alumni Success Story: Graduate Launches Tech Startup
A recent graduate of International Alatoo University has successfully launched a tech startup that has secured $1 million in seed funding from venture capital investors.
International Alatoo University is proud to highlight the success of recent graduate Alina Moldovan, who has launched a promising tech startup that has already secured $1 million in seed funding from venture capital investors.
Alina, who graduated with a degree in Computer Science in 2021, founded TechSolutions, a company that develops AI-powered software for small businesses. The company's flagship product, an AI assistant that helps small businesses manage customer relations and automate routine tasks, has already attracted over 500 clients since its launch six months ago.
"My education at International Alatoo University provided me with both the technical skills and the entrepreneurial mindset needed to start my own company," said Alina. "The supportive environment, mentorship from professors, and opportunities to participate in startup competitions and internships were invaluable in preparing me for this journey."
Alina developed the initial prototype of her product as part of her senior project at the university, under the guidance of Dr. Viktor Petrov from the Department of Computer Science. After graduation, she further developed the product and established her company with support from the university's Business Incubator.
"Alina's success is a perfect example of what we aim to achieve through our entrepreneurship education and support programs," said Dr. Sophia Lee, Director of the Business Incubator at International Alatoo University. "We are committed to nurturing the entrepreneurial talents of our students and providing them with the resources and guidance they need to turn their ideas into successful ventures."
With the recent funding, Alina plans to expand her team, enhance the product's features, and enter new markets. She also intends to establish an internship program for current students at International Alatoo University, giving back to the institution that supported her entrepreneurial journey.
